About Me

I have always been fascinated by people’s stories.

Something about sitting with someone and hearing about their joys and struggles—the trials they had overcome and the mountains they had yet to scale has just felt right to me, like I’m where I’m meant to be. Then some things happened in my own life, so I decided to see a counselor, and my life was forever changed. I knew that I wanted to be able to do that for people, to help them to find themselves and who they were made to be. To be with them as they scaled those mountains. I went to grad school and learned how to do this and the science of what makes counseling work, so that I could provide quality, evidence-based care when working with clients. Now, I have the incredible privilege of entering into your story with you, of hearing about your joys and struggles, the trials you have overcome, and the mountains you have yet to scale.

When I’m not doing therapy, I’m generally reading about therapy, spending time with my husband and kids, or trying something new!
